MANUFACTURING

Protection is manufactured, not assembled from a catalogue.

YILTEX Armor operates its own production facility where carrier textiles, soft armor panels and hard armor plates move through a documented process — from pattern to packed system.

The facility

Our production operates as one integrated facility: textile construction, ballistic panel production, composite plate manufacturing and final system assembly share the same floor, the same engineering team and the same quality system.

This integration is deliberate. Personal protection products are systems — a carrier without its matched panels is an unfinished product. Keeping every discipline in-house means the system is engineered together and inspected together.

The production flow

Every product family follows a controlled sequence with documented handoffs.

  1. Design & patterning

Requirements are translated into patterns, lay-up definitions and material specifications before production starts.

  2. Cutting

Technical textiles and ballistic materials are cut against approved patterns for accuracy and repeatability.

  3. Sewing & construction

Carrier shells, covers and textile components are constructed under documented work instructions.

  4. Ballistic assembly

Soft panel lay-ups are assembled and sealed; composite plates are laminated, pressed and finished.

  5. Inspection

Dimensional, visual and construction inspection is embedded at defined points — not appended at the end.

  6. System packing

Products are configured, documented and packed as complete systems for programme delivery.

Traceability and documentation culture

Material lots, production steps and inspection results are recorded through the flow. When a programme requests evidence, we answer with records — not recollection. The same documentation culture drives our controlled technical documentation programme for customers.
