BALLISTIC PROTECTION SYSTEMS
Protection ofTomorrow.
YILTEX Armor designs steel vests, ballistic plates, soft armor, helmets and tactical bags in its own plant — as one system.
PROTECTION SYSTEMS
One system. Every family.
A YILTEX Armor system is built as connected families, not a pile of separate products. Carriers hold the protection. Soft panels and hard plates deliver it. Helmets, load carriage and gloves complete the duty set. Open a family to read how it is built — models stay on their own pages.
Carrier · panel · plate · helmet · load · glove
- Steel VestsTextile vest and plate-carrier platforms built for configuration, fit and operational load.
- Ballistic HelmetsHead protection presented through fit, configuration and application requirements.
- Tactical BackpackTactical backpacks and modular load-carriage solutions.
- Tactical GlovesPrecision grip, protection and dexterity for tactical duty.
- Ballistic PlatesHard ballistic plates developed as a dedicated product family for compatible carrier systems.
- Soft ArmorSoft ballistic panels engineered for vest and carrier integration.
COMPANY
Textile roots. Ballistic production.
YILTEX Armor has operated in textiles since 1985 and builds body armor, hard plates, soft panels, helmets, uniforms and tactical apparel in its own Çorum plant — for military and civilian programmes at home and abroad.

The plant runs a 300-machine park across 5,000 m² of indoor area, with capacity expanding as programmes grow. Production technology is renewed on a three-year cycle. Raw materials are selected against high-level international certification requirements; every lot is inspected before shipment.
Export programmes and defence exhibitions support seller networks linked to established brands in the Çorum industrial zone. Hard ballistic plates leave the line with their quality certificates. Uniform and tactical clothing are produced on the same manufacturing floor. We welcome programme, exhibition and direct enquiries.
MANUFACTURING
From textile construction to hard armor pressing — one facility.
Production is organised as four connected chapters, sharing one floor, one engineering team and one quality system.
ONE FACILITY · ONE ENGINEERING TEAM · ONE QUALITY SYSTEM
One production line — four stages
Textile & Carrier Construction
Pattern development, cutting and sewing of carrier systems — the textile backbone of body-worn protection.
Soft Armor Production
Layered ballistic textiles cut, assembled and sealed into panels engineered for carrier integration.
Hard Armor Production
Composite plates laminated, pressed and finished as a dedicated manufacturing discipline.
Development & Quality
Custom product development and inspection routines with traceable records at every stage.
EXHIBITIONS & PARTICIPATION

APPLICATIONS
Configured for the sector, engineered to one standard.
Military, police, security, institutional and special-operations programmes do not share one catalogue product. They share one manufacturing floor, one engineering line and one quality system — then diverge in vest layout, plate selection, soft-panel geometry and documentation pack.

FAQ
Common questions
- Which protection families does YILTEX Armor manufacture?
- YILTEX Armor manufactures Steel Vests, Ballistic Plates, Soft Armor, Ballistic Helmets and Tactical Bags. Families are listed on the Products page.
- How do vest, panel and plate work together?
- The steel vest positions the system. Soft armor and plates stop the threat. The helmet completes the kit. Pocket geometry and sizing are matched to the panel and plate, so the assembly is specified as one system.
- How is quality read?
- Two records. Management-system certificates — quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and social accountability — sit on the Certificates page as printed. Ballistic performance is the relevant test report, not a general level claim.
- How are ballistic tests documented?
- A published soft-panel batch, AT-25.0008, was tested independently by Nurol Teknoloji to NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA: 4 panels, 24 hits, zero penetration. The record is on the Zero Penetration page. Other configurations are shared through the documentation request.
- Where are YILTEX Armor products made?
- YILTEX Armor manufactures personal protection systems in its own facility in Çorum, Türkiye.
- How do I request technical documents?
- Use the documentation request form. Materials are shared according to the programme.
- Which sectors are products specified for?
- Military, police, security, government/institutional and special-operations programmes. They share one floor and one quality system. Vest layout, plate choice, panel geometry and the document pack are set by sector.
- How is production organised?
- Four connected chapters: textile and carrier, soft armor, hard armor, development and quality. One facility, one engineering team, one quality system.
- How do soft panels differ from hard plates?
- Soft armor: layered ballistic textiles are cut, assembled and sealed as panels. Hard armor: composite plates are laminated, pressed and finished. Both are matched to the carrier.
- Where are certificates shown?
- Management-system certificates — quality, environment, occupational health and safety, social accountability — are on the Certificates page as printed.
