YILTEX Armor is an international ballistic and personal protection manufacturer. We design, engineer and produce protection systems in our own facility — and we treat that ownership of production as the core of who we are.
Our story
YILTEX Armor grew from a foundation in industrial textile manufacturing — a discipline that demands precision at every seam, consistency across every batch, and documentation that holds up under scrutiny. When the company expanded into ballistic and personal protection, those disciplines came with it.
Today we design, engineer and manufacture personal protection systems in our own facility in Çorum, Türkiye. Production, pattern engineering, ballistic assembly and inspection happen under one roof — not distributed across subcontractors, not outsourced at any critical stage. That ownership of the full process is deliberate: it is where quality is actually built, not just stated.
We build protection as a system. A steel vest defines geometry and load-bearing logic. Soft panels complete the ballistic coverage. Plates address threat levels that soft materials cannot. Helmets and bags close the package. These five product families are engineered to work together, and our programmes are structured around that system thinking — not around selling individual components.
Programme work begins from your requirement document. Configuration, sizing, colourways, protection levels, documentation packs — all of it shaped by what you actually need, not by what already exists on a shelf. Technical detail travels through controlled channels, not marketing materials. We are part of the wider YILTEX industrial family, while Armor's engineering focus stays where it belongs: ballistic and personal protection.
What we do
YILTEX Armor manufactures the components of personal protection — textile carrier systems, soft armor panels, hard armor plates — and specifies them together with ballistic helmets as complete, coherent systems. Development, production and inspection happen under one roof, by one engineering team.
Our customers are programmes, not shoppers: defence forces, law enforcement organisations, security companies and institutions that procure through specifications and expect documentation behind every claim.
